How to take a good picture?

As a kind of visual art, photography, together with painting and sculpture, constitutes human space art, and has a wide range of influences. Photography creation is based on the photographer's thoughts and emotions, using image thinking, observation and research of the scene, and the selection of its materials, creative work with the camera. The subject of photography is the main body and core of photographic works. The selection of materials, composition, use of light, etc., must be subordinate to the subject matter to be expressed. The same subject matter can express different themes, which is closely related to the photographer's position, viewpoint, artistic accomplishment and experience.

A work has only one concentrated, clear and prominent theme, called a single theme. A single theme is good, but it is not easy to do. But in fact, due to the richness of real life, different people will have different feelings and understandings of the same scene, resulting in ambiguity in themes. In fact, photos should have a theme, and the selection, composition, and use of light must serve the theme. Materials that are not conducive to expressing the theme should be discarded, and technical skills that are not conducive to expressing the theme cannot be used.

As for a photo, in terms of content, it is novel, interesting, plot, and individual. The so-called highlights are the places where the photos are eye-catching, arouse interest, and look good. Good-looking photos are not only reflected in the content, but also in various forms. For example, a good light perception can attract people, and a good composition is also an indispensable factor for a successful work. Good photos need to accumulate experience in long-term practice and have eyes that are good at discovering beauty.
